Ghost
It was the story of a rich man
and a poor man
and the poor man killed the rich man
for his money
and the white knight ghost
of the rich man
came back to kill
the poor man
for saintly reasons
and when he had killed the poor man
jagged discontented demons
came to drag the poor mans soul
to heaven knows where
and God knows what
but a bright shining light
came down upon the rich man
and after he had kissed
the beautiful innocent princess
he grained away
into a pastel field
of surreal color
It was the story of a rich man
and a poor man
and the rich man killed the poor man
for his money
and he said it was a dream
but it wasn’t
and he thought that he had lived
but he hadn’t
and when he died
the purified pastel field
in which he had lived
turned black
and soundless
only
